“Typing Myself In” takes the form of a keyboard. Each key is replaced by an icon that represents different types and frequencies of personal privacy leakage during interactions with digital devices. As the user types, a hidden “internet portrait” of them is gradually generated. The final output is a pixelated video that not only documents the user’s interaction with the keyboard but also visualizes their privacy leakage through pixel icons.
